Nardone Automotive might have outdone themselves with this Porsche 928 restomod. Achieving this futuristic look wasn’t the easiest of tasks, as the shop had to completely replace the wheels, bumper, lights and lots of bodywork pieces. Shape-wise, it keeps the iconic 928 look, but now the classic car is much lighter, thanks to a from carbon fiber shell.
However, things were not just changed aesthetically, but also under the hood, as the factory V8 engine has been tuned to 400hp, mated to a modern 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. The chassis setup boasts a redesigned front / rear axle / spindle, an actively controlled electronic suspension, larger brakes and adaptive electric power steering. This Porsche 928 Tom Cruise drove in ‘Risky Business’ just might be one of the few worth more than this restomod.

The 928 has always been unique in the Porsche cannon, lauded for its technical advancements it earned the designation “Car of the Year” in 1978. It was and still remains a very special car, yet it only achieved roughly 60,000 units in sales during its 17 year production run. The 911 correctly receives endless attention from the customization community, but we felt it was time to shed light on the 928 platform and give it the love that it deserves,” said Carlo Borromeo, Nardone Designer.
