Some say Top Gear just hasn’t been the same ever since Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May left, but one thing’s for sure, they’re still producing electrifying content, literally. In their latest showdown, they pit the Porsche Taycan Turbo S against the Tesla Model S, and believe it or not, the former wins in the 0-60 miles per hour sprint. How much did the Porsche win by? Less than a hundredth of a second to 60 mph, and less than four-tenths of a second to 100mph. Top Gear wanted to see just how fast the Taycan S Turbo really is, so they went to an unrestricted section of the Autobahn and discovered that its official maximum velocity is 167 mph before running out of steam. The Tesla claimed to have a 155 mph top speed, but isn’t confirmed on video.
