PS5 PlayStation 5 Dev Kit Macho Nacho Productions
You’ve seen how the PS5 was built, now check out the PlayStation 5 dev kit that leaked ahead of the console’s official release. YouTuber Tito Perez of Macho Nacho Productions managed to get his hands on a unit and will eventually provide a detailed look at the hardware inside, but for now, we’ll have to settle for just a menu system.

These dev kits were originally distributed to officially licensed developers interested in making games for the PS5, as it features several ports and inputs not found on the production unit. Unfortunately, Tito’s PS5 dev kit has not yet been activated, so that is the main reason why we can’t dive deeper into the software besides the home screen. What we can see is that it matches up with the leaks, especially the LCD on the front panel, exhaust ports running down each side, four USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, USB-C port, and four buttons for controlling the console. Hardware wise, we know that it has close to 2.5TB of internal storage.
