You’ve seen the PlayStation 2 portable, now check out this Raspberry Pi-powered PS2 memory card that makes running homebrew a breeze. Called the MemCard Pro 2, this device supports MMCE (Multi-Purpose Memory Card Emulation), which means you can run PS2 ROMs directly from a microSD card.



That’s right, the MemCard Pro 2 offer nearly unlimited save file storage, while also letting you boot your favorite PS2 games seamlessly. Setting it up requires downloading the sd2psXtd firmware files, get the ‘civ[.]bin’ file, and then transfer everything over to the microSD card. You’ll then need to create two new folders on the microSD card for the ROM files.
