It’s official, the refreshed 2024 Tesla Model 3 has been unveiled. The biggest changes can be found on the exterior and includes a revamped front fascia with slimmer headlights without the small fog light pods near the lower grille, as well as two new colors: Ultra Red and Stealth Gray.
What hasn’t changed is the powertrain, as it still comes in Standard Rarnge RWD and LR variants with up to 344 miles and 421 miles of range on a full charge, respectively. The base model comes equipped with a single electric motor making 271 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in 6.1 seconds. Now the Long Range variant has two electric motors generating 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in 4.4 seconds. Step inside, and you’ll find new fabric materials, an ambient lighting system, improved soundproofing, as well as slimmer bezels on the 15.4-inch infotainment system. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability for the US market, but reports indicate that this model will first go into production at Gigafactory Shanghai.
