Retrospekt debuts their $1,200 USD Polaroid SX-70 Sonar Autofocus ‘24K Gold Edition’ instant film camera. Limited to just 99-units worldwide, this camera is fully-refurbished and plated in 24K gold gold, each built with the original components from the vintage Polaroid SX-70 Sonar Autofocus.
Before the 24K gold plating process, the camera was completely deconstructed and then restored to ensure that every component is in working order. Genuine black leather covers the exterior, with the rear piece featuring individual serial numbering to 99. The original Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep was released in 1978, complete with a fixed lens built into the camera and a built-in light meter. More information here.
