Rheinmetall Keiler Next Generation Armoured Breaching Vehicle
Rheinmetall’s Keiler Next Generation Armoured Breaching Vehicle (ABV) looks like something from Call of Duty, but this isn’t just for looks, as it comes equipped with a full-width mine plough. the latter is complimented with Rheinmetall’s innovative Plofadder Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) to ensure safe passage for soldiers on the battlefield.

Fired from the rear section of the ABV and detonated on the ground, the MICLIC breaks at least 160m long and 9m wide passage per system in a very short time through large-scale mine barriers. It can not only make the lanes created recognizable for the following forces, but do so in restricted visibility or at night.

Next to active and passive protection measures, other features include a magnetic signature duplicator for initiating mines from a safe distance, as well as a front-end interface for picking up the plough with an emergency ejection mechanism. The Keiler NG is able to assemble the plough independently using the crane or to resupply itself with ammunition or other Plofadder systems,” said the company.
