The Batman director Matt Reeves has just released the first screen test video of Robert Pattinson playing the masked vigilante. Set for release on June 25, 2021, this film focuses on a younger Batman and hopes to emphasize the detective aspect of the character to a greater extent than previous films. Aside from Pattinson, the film also stars Jeffrey Wright, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, and John Turturro in supporting roles. Since the film centers around a younger Bruce Wayne, the Batman is around 30 years old and neither an experienced superhero nor a beginning crime fighter.
