The ultra seek Rodin FZero has nothing to do with Nintendo’s F-Zero, but it most certainly is the most extreme hypercar we’ve seen yet. At just 1,540 pounds, thanks to an all-carbon fiber frame, power comes from a bespoke twin-turbocharged 4.0L V10 engine making 1,013 hp, and the company hopes it can eventually push that number over 1,500 hp.
With its 6,613 of downforce, this single-seat hypercar is claimed to be faster around the track than a modern F1 car, although official numbers have not been released to confirm that claim. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the company is only planning to build 27-units, with pricing yet to be announced.

I don’t love the design. But, considering the weight of the car and the downforce required to keep all that V10 power on the floor, I’m sure the form follows the function. If Rodin are serious about making this the fastest track car in the world – faster than an F1 car – then I can’t wait to see what it can do when it’s finally driven in anger. I will say, if I’d seen this car when I was 10, it would’ve been an all-time, inspiring favorite,” said one commenter.
