Samsung has filed several patents recently for a smartphone with a display that can be pulled to both the left and right sides, effectively doubling or even tripling the screen real estate. The company reportedly wants to employ a flexible display panel that can turn a standard 6-inch smartphone to an 8-inch tablet, and thus this Samsung Galaxy Note concept was born. Dutch 3D designer Jermaine Smit, better known as Concept Creator online, has visualized this device to give fans an idea of what it could look like.
A Samsung S Pen was included for maximum accessibility when in tablet mode. Turn the device around, and you’ll find a triple rear camera system, with the S Pen compartment at the bottom right side. For audiophiles who despite wireless headphones, there’s a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers installed on the top / bottom. There’s no word yet on when we can see a prototype, but your best bet would be Mobile World Congress 2021 next June.
