Southwest Airlines New Premium Seating Seats
BARK Air is a nice luxury for your beloved pet, but if you just want a comfortable domestic flight that won’t break the bank, there’s Southwest Airlines’ new Premium Seating option. These new seats take advantage of the extended legroom portion of the cabin, which equates to roughly one-third of seats across the fleet.

Those familiar with the airline probably already know that they were best known for their first-come, first-served boarding process, but that is set to change with assigned seating. According to Southwest, open seating is claimed to be the number one reason for choosing a competitor, thus by moving to an assigned seating model, the company expects to broaden its appeal and attract more flying from its current and future customers.
