SpaceX Starship Launch Third Test Flight
SpaceX Starship successfully launched into space on its third test flight from the company’s facility at Boca Chica Beach. Unfortunately, both Starship and its Super Heavy booster did not survive reentry, although the test flight did manage to achieve several of its key goals.

During the third test flight, Starship achieved peak altitudes of 145 miles, and from the data collected, it’s clear that Starship remains a considerable distance from becoming fully operational. Elon Musk states that he wants to complete hundreds of uncrewed missions before Starship carries its first humans. Plus, several other milestones need to be overseen by NASA ahead of a possible moon landing with American astronauts.
