Stellantis DS E-TENSE Performance Formula E Supercar
Think of the DS E-TENSE Performance as a Formula E race car in street-legal form. Featuring an ultra lightweight carbon fiber monocoque that is powered by two electric motors sourced straight from a Formula E race car that generates 805 horsepower and 5,900 pound-feet of torque at the wheels, the latter of which also provides it with a 600-kilowatt regeneration capacity, enabling it to hit 62 mph in a mere 2.0-seconds.

On the outside, you’ll find a digital grille with a three-dimensional effect, while the standard headlights have been replaced by two cameras, which are designed to collect data for navigation. In case you need more illumination, it also has daytime lights consisting of a whopping 800 LEDs. Inside, there’s race-inspired bucket seats, a sporty steering wheel, and a booming FOCAL Utopia sound system, including exclusive Scala Utopia Evo speakers. Unfortunately, this concept is not for sale, but it will be offered as an NFT in four different series on the Pavillion Hub app.

Our objective is to apply the experience acquired in Formula E and the expertise that we’ve taken from our international titles to a project which predicts the high-performance electric car of tomorrow. It is a laboratory that we will use to analyze the behavior of components and to develop them with a view to future manufacturing. The idea is also to find solutions to lower costs, make them easier to manufacture and explore implementations in production models. The next generations of the E-TENSE range will benefit from these developments,” said Thomas Chevaucher, DS PERFORMANCE Director.
