Swiss Army Knife Romotow T8 Camper Trailer Production
A custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is nice, but if you need something larger and more luxurious, there is W2’s Swiss Amry Knife-inspired Romotow T8 camper trailer. After being in development for 11-years, the T8 camper still features an aerodynamic and lightweight construction for increased fuel efficiency as well as towing stability.

The 30.5-foot trailer also boasts a lift-up double bed, kitchenette, lounge / dining area, power assisted braking, pneumatic shocks, gyro-assisted, self-leveling pads / struts, and a rear mounted camera. Optional equipment include a sheltered BBQ deck area for entertaining, a windbreak, wall-mounted screens, sliding doors, louvered windows, solar panels, easy clean furniture, and more. Available for pre-order now directly from W2, priced from $268,000 USD.

Often the negatives of camper-vans and RV’s (compared with larger tents) are the expense and lack of covered transitional space. While looking at the movement of a Swiss army knife an idea came to us on how we could create this covered area. We then sketched a ‘mobile living’ unit that could be anything: a caravan, a mobile café, a home office, a weekend escape, or a new lifestyle of discovery and wonder for retirees – and from that moment the concept took on a life of its own,” said Matt Wilkie, W2 director.
