Tesla Diner Hollywood Construction Complete Drive-In Theater
In Tesla’s Q1 2025 earnings presentation today, Elon Musk showed new pictures of the Tesla Diner in Hollywood, which is almost ready to open. Found at 7001 W. Santa Monica Boulevard, this spot mixes a 1950s-style diner, a drive-in movie theater, and a Supercharger station.

Tesla’s been hiring for important jobs, like a “Diner Experience Specialist” (paying up to $285,000 a year) to run the dining and theater parts. In March 2025, they named celebrity chef Eric Greenspan as the chef de cuisine, hinting at tasty, high-quality American food.

The two-story, 24-hour diner will seat over 200, with indoor seating on the first floor and outdoor seating (including a rooftop area) on the second. Expect a “Grease meets The Jetsons” vibe with neon lights, roller-skating waitstaff, and classic American dishes like burgers and milkshakes.

The site will feature up to 75 V4 Supercharger stalls (initial plans mentioned 28–34, but recent reports suggest expansion to 80). These are open to all EVs, not just Teslas, and are designed to charge in about 15–30 minutes, aligning with the movie clip duration.

That’s right, two 45-foot LED screens will show 30-minute movie clips or short films from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., viewable from the diner, charging stalls, or a 77-seat outdoor theater area. As for the diner, it aims to blend 1950s nostalgia with Tesla’s tech-forward approach, potentially including in-car ordering and payment (possibly with Dogecoin).
