Tesla Model 3 K.I.T.T. Knight Rider Conversion
H/t: Car Scoops
Fans of Knight Rider are most certainly familiar with K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand), but what would a modern version look like? One Tesla Model 3 owner decided to create his own version, complete with the iconic LED scanner bar. Aside from the scanner bar, the second most important feature would be the AI voice box, which was created with an iPhone running a basic phrase-recognizing app.

The factory steering wheel was then swapped out for a Model S Plaid-style yoke as a finishing touch. Future upgrades include voice commands, an Atari joystick and installing retro-style screens that mimic those found in the 1982 Pontic Firebird Trans Am driven by David Hasselhoff. Unfortunately, you won’t be getting any phrases from William Daniels, who was the original series voice actor.
