We know the Lamborghini LM002 is more of a collector’s item than something you’d drive everyday, but how does the new Urus Performante stack up against the Tesla Model X Plaid in a drag race? Well, the latter has a three electric motor setup generating 1,020 hp and 752 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in a mere 2.6-seconds.
As for the Lamborghini Urus Performante, power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine generating 657 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that helps the SUV hit 62 mph in 3.3-seconds. This means that on paper, the Urus Performante is already underpowered, or at least when compared the the Tesla Model X Plaid. Fortunately, CarWow pit these two against the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, AMG GLE 63, and BMW X5M as well.
