Ever needed to print a boarding pass, ticket, shipping label, or anything else, but did not have access to a printer? Well, VIA aims to solve that problem. This portable printer and scanner works on just about any flat surface, thanks to its guidance rollers that will keep whatever it is you’re printing straight. An built-in touchscreen display lets you preview what is currently printing, while the scanning feature lets you transmit the image or document directly to a smartphone. You won’t need any expensive ink, as all it needs is a basic CMYK cartridge for monochrome and full-color printing. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but considering all of the handheld photo printers out there, this idea doesn’t seem too farfetched.
