Vodafone partnered with Disney to release Neo, a smartwatch designed for kids that will help parents stay connected through calls, chats, familiar characters and emojis. An integrated 5.0-megapixel forward-facing camera lets children capture their daily adventures, while the activity tracker logs activity and sets a goal to encourage them to get on their feet. A companion Vodafone Smart App enables parents and guardians to be in full control of a child’s digital experience with Neo. This means they’ll be able to approve their circle of trusted contacts, manage screen time through ‘Quiet Mode’ and view the device’s location. Simple calendar and weather features encourage children to interact with the world around them, while parents can set events and reminders for them. Available in early 20201, priced at $132 with a $9 per month subscription. Unfortunately, Neo is set for a Europe-only launch for now.
