If you’re not afraid of heights, a new attraction at Longgang National Geopark in Yunyang of the municipality of Chongqing in south-western China, has a cliff swing for you. It’s touted as the world’s highest and fastest cliff swing, this single-seat ride is suspended by a rainbow-colored arch and hurls you at a speed of up to 80mph.
Riders will get to experience soaring over a 2,300-foot cliff that overlooks a giant canyon. Just in case you’re wondering, that is not a waterfall on the ground, but rather a clever 3D optical illusion painted on the floor. This attraction is currently in its testing period and should open sometime next month.

This swing is allegedly capable of withstanding a thunderstorm, magnitude 10 earthquake and even hurricane-force winds at Beaufort scale of 12. It also sets a new record of cliffside swings in China, beating the two swings in Dream Ordovician theme park, which is located in the mountainous region of Chongqing.
