Xbox Series X is coming out this winter, but you can rest assured that some Microsoft engineers are already working on its successor. Think of Project Oris as an all-in-one gaming console, smart speaker and projector. You can either connect it to an external display or project the image onto a flat surface at 8K resolution and in HDR.

As a smart speaker, it delivers rich sound through five audio drivers, while four omni-directional microphones can be used for voice commands and / or possibly taking voice / video calls. It runs Microsoft Cortana, so setting up eSports reminders, turning off lights, and more, will be a breeze. When can we expect such a console? Well, the Xbox cycle typically runs between 4-6 years, so at earliest, around 2024.
