You could either dream about the Tesla Model M, or marvel at the futuristic Zero SR-X Concept. This electric motorcycle, created in collaboration with HUGE Design, is powered by an 82-kW ZF75-10 electric motor generating 110 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, connected to a ZF17.3 lithium-ion battery that is good for up to 187-miles of range.
Step around back, and you’re greeted with the ultra sleek exposed mechanical parts, giving it somewhat of a fighter jet-inspired look, while the large rear tire enhancing its aggressive stance. Unlike traditional motorcycles, the centrally-mounted motor on the SR-X Concept means that it has over 7 gallons of storage space. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on if this model will go into production.

This bike is an attempt to define a new sub-category for high performance electric, something between a streetfighter and a track bike. We wanted true sport riders to appreciate the subtle and balanced design approach — modern, futuristic and clean without sacrificing the raw-performance look and overtly mechanical appeal of high-performance motorcycles,” said Bill Webb, HUGE Design Partner.
