BMW is gradually transitioning into EVs, and the iX is their latest entry. Set to hit U.S. showrooms in 2022, this electric SUV comes equipped with two electric motors and a 100kWh battery pack that generate a combined 496 horsepower, which enables it to hit 62 mph in under 5-seconds. On the inside, the displays and controls boast a minimalist design, further reinforcing the impression of an uncluttered cabin offering a place of relaxation. Features include speakers integrated out of sight, intricately styled air vents, heated surfaces and a BMW Head-Up Display’s projector built into the instrument panel so it’s near invisible. The driver is greeted with a hexagonal-shaped steering wheel, a rocker switch for gear selection and the BMW Curved Display that runs the next-generation BMW Operating System.
