The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV has just been revealed, and it’s set to take on the Tesla Model Y next year. Available in 1LT, 2LT, RS and SS performance trims, the latter of which makes 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. On a full charge, you can get up to 320-miles of driving range, depending on the trim.
On the outside, both RS and SS trims feature bold, dual-element LED exterior lighting signature that also has choreographed lighting sequences, which activate when the driver approaches or walks away. This comes in the form of a full light bar and an illuminated Bowtie emblem on the front. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a large 17.7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen and a large 11-inch-diagonal color Driver Information Center in the instrument cluster. You’re able to reserve one now starting at $44,995 USD for the LT1 trim, while the SS will cost you at least $65,995 in late 2023. We have a feeling that this Supra-powered 1973 Chevrolet Impala Hi-Riser may be a bit faster.
