The 2024 Aston Martin DB12 is claimed to be the world’s first Super Tourer and aims to set the benchmark for performance, ultra luxury as well as style. It’s powered by a hand-built, twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine generating 661 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a shortened Final Drive Ratio (3.083:1), enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in a 3.6-seconds, while topping out at 202 mph.
Aesthetically, the track has been increased by 8mm up front and 22mm at the rear. A revamped front-end sports a larger radiator aperture and a reshaped splitter, framed by LED headlights as well as a new Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) signature. The supercar sits on 21-inch forged alloy wheels and new frameless wing mirrors finish off the exterior. Hand-stitched Bridge of Weir hides accent the interior and a 10.25-inch infotainment system uses a capacitive touchscreen with a 30ms reaction time with support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Deliveries are set to begin during Fall 2023, with pricing yet to be announced.
