Apple Event Invitation September 7 AR Easter Egg
There’s officially an Apple event happening on September 7th, and there’s a hidden AR Easter egg that anyone can try out right now. Simply navigate over to the official Apple Events page on an iPhone, tap the logo, and the ARKit augmented-reality viewer built into iOS will be activated, opening a wormhole or portal of sorts.

The invite boasts an Apple logo composed of stars, while the AR version is essentially a galactic void filled with moving stars that appears to float in front of you. You’ll be able to interact with the stars and view it from all angles. Experience it here now (iPhone only). Officially called the ‘Far Out’ event, the company is expected to reveal the iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8 (possibly Apple Watch Pro), and a second-generation AirPods Pro. It’s a long shot, but Apple registered a ‘RealityOS’ trademark recently, so we may get a teaser of the headset their purportedly working on.
