There was a leaked screenshot of what the Apple Face Mask looks like, but this weekend, an employee got their hands on it and uploaded some unboxing images. Just to recap, these Apple-designed mask are being handed out to both corporate and retail employees amid the coronaovirs pandemic at no cost to them. It has three layers designed to filter incoming and outgoing particles, while also being washable for reuse up to five times. Read more for additional pictures.
The Apple Face Mask was created by the same in-house designers at Cupertino, California that work on the company’s iPhones and iPads. Both the large coverings on the top and bottom for the nose and chin are adjustable. We’ve heard about the Apple ClearMask, a transparent surgical mask cleared by the Food and Drug Administration, but have not yet seen any pictures of it.
