Apple is rumored to be launching new AirPods, AirPods Pro and a set of over-ear headphones later this year, possibly as soon as the virtual WWDC 2020 conference beginning June 22, 2020. Technology leaker Jon Prosser discovered that the over-ear Apple headphones are codenamed B15 and will purportedly be called the AirPods Studio, priced at $349. In addition to the over-ear AirPods Studio, a new AirPods X model is also going to launch some time later this year. This model will be designed for outdoor activities with a focus on sports and ruggedness. When should you expect to see it in stores? Some are pegging its release to be alongside the new iPhone 12 models in September or October.

Looks like Apple is sticking with the “AirPods” branding for their new over-ear headphones.
