AT&T Future Technology 1993 You Will
AT&T’s ‘You Will’ campaign in 1993 accurately predicted the future of technology, including video calling, tablet computers, smart home systems, toll booths that automatically deduct payment(s), and smartwatches with phone capability.

Some might have seen a few of these on television 31-years-ago, but did you know they were all directed by David Fincher? That’s right, and Tom Selleck narrated them. There were many other predictions that came true, like telemedicine, GPS navigation systems, self-service kiosks, video on demand, distance learning, and intelligent personal assistants. Our favorite? Real-time online collaboration of course. It can be seen in a segment where students teach each other their native languages over videophone.
