Avicar Racing League Virtual Reality
We have seen the future of racing, and it includes Avicar, a private racing league that uses Remote Reality on a physical racetrack. Think of it as virtual meets augmented reality with livestream cameras onboard that transmit footage via high-speed 5G, WiFi or satellite to a driver’s headset, enabling them to control actual cars in real-time.

Avicar is the only racing league where driver’s can experience microsecond real-time reactivity and tactile response, which means it comes as close to being in the driver’s seat as possible without ever leaving your home. The racing league basically transports the driver seat from a real vehicle to the safety of home, allowing engineers to push motorsports to whole new levels. This upcoming season will boast 11 sports cars competing in a global A-0 private race. More information here.

Avicar Racing League Virtual Reality

If Formula 1 is F1, Avicar is known in short form as A-0, a representation of the future. A real-world motorsport where drivers sync with physical vehicles from home – a first of its kind. As Wi-Fi, 5G, and satellite speeds have increased dramatically, Remote Reality opens the door to a new world of immersive experiences,” said the Avicar Team.
