Even though the BMW M5 Competition and M8 Competition are nearly identical on the power side of things, there are still obvious differences elsewhere. Is the M8 Competition worth the extra money? Well, if speed is important to you, then at the very least, you’ll have a launch control system that always works rather than occasionally, like on the M5 Competition. Whatever you choose, both models feature chassis technology that comprises model-specific components and a setup fine-tuned in intensive testing on race tracks. At the same time, it also lives up to the expectations of luxury car customers when it comes to everyday and long-distance comfort.
