The problem with the Bugatti Chiron, or any supercar / hypercar for that matter, is that they’re not designed to go off-road. Its quad-turbocharged 8.0L W16 engine generating 1,479 hp and 1,180 lb⋅ft) of torque may not be the best for dirt roads, that is unless…you’re talking about designer Rafal Czaniecki’s 4×4 Terracross Concept. This variant would be perfect for off-road rally races, complete with 3D-printed honeycomb chassis parts, like the fender flares that are also enclosed in a carbon fiber-based resin for added protection.
Other upgrades include a light bar-equipped roof rack, spare tire, cargo box, and tires / shocks that lift the entire body up to handle uneven terrain with ease. In factory form, the Chiron can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.4-seconds, but we don’t recommend trying this in the 4×4 Terracross Concept on a dirt road should it ever become a reality, nor see if it can hit 249 mph.
