Charge Cars is set to debut their electric 1967 Ford Mustang restomod at both the LA Auto Show and Petersen Automotive Museum later this year. Limited to 499 vehicles worldwide, this EV boasts 536 hp and 1,120 lb-ft of torque send in sent to all four wheels with torque vectoring technology, enabling it to hit 62 mph in a mere 3.99-seconds, while topping out at an electronically limited 150 mph.
It’s based on an all-new, officially licensed Ford Mustang body shell that has been wrapped in lightweight composite carbon fiber body panels, along with a modern interior that includes a fully digital dashboard, new suspension components, braking system, bespoke audio system and new lighting.
