CX Air Dynamics’ Cascades airbag pants may look strange, but they might save your life, especially motorcycle riders. CX Air Dynamics and Mo’Cycle are both selling their own versions of these airbag pants / jeans, with just subtle differences. When worn normally, they look like normal pants, but in case of impact, they balloon up to protect the rider.
How do they work? CX Air Dynamics’ pants contain a cord connected to the motorcycle that deploys an airbag system in 183 milliseconds when an impact or tear is detected, triggering its inflation. Mo’Cycle is yet to launch their airbag jeans, but their website does state that a mechanical trigger belt connects to your motorcycle and activates the airbag automatically. They are priced at $641.50 USD and $499 respectively.
- The model includes a 2-speed gearbox, a first for LEGO Technic motorcycle models, and front and rear suspension for realistic movement

- Discover how the gearbox activates the V4-cylinder engine and feel the smooth ride of different driving techniques with the 2-speed action

In the event of a fall, 63% of injuries are concentrated in the lower limbs, whereas no protective device existed until now. The goal of this crowdfunding is to publicize our overpants while generating a little turnover to start production,” said Xavier Bouquillard de Milleret, Founder of CX Air Dynamics.
