DRVN Concepts might have built the coolest open-top Lamborghini yet, and it’s called the Monterossa Speedster. This unique supercar draws inspiration from motorcycles and weighs in at just 2,808-pounds with near perfect weight distribution. Power still comes from the factory 5.2L V10 generating 562 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque, while the OEM hood has been replaced with a sculpted one, paired to a more aggressive front bumper as well as LED headlights.
What really stands out is the fact that the engine and transmission are now completely exposed at the rear, somewhat similar to a motorcycle. One thing to note is that it didn’t start out as a normal Lamborghini Gallardo, but rather the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. DRVN Concepts announced that they will build 15 units for customers, with pricing yet to be revealed.

Inspiration for the Monterossa lies in motorcycle design. Our founder, Nick Renner, dreamt of a supercar that embodied the mechanical beauty and visceral experience of a superbike with the raw emotion and allure of an exotic. This combination creates a stark contrast between the smooth, sexy, surfacing at the front of the vehicle and the vicious V10, suspension, exhaust, and components at the rear,” said the company.
