The all-new Ferrari 296 GT3 was specially designed around the needs of teams and professional drivers. Every detail was meticulously planned after observing the dictates of the new GT3 regulations, right down to the 120° 6V engine with the turbochargers housed in the ‘vee’. This meant lowering it and moving the engine forward to improve balance as well as for a lower center of gravity.
Its twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine produces 592 hp and 524 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. On the exterior, it boasts a carbon fiber front splitter, large rear wing, and giant diffuser. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced, but it will debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona next year. The Ferrari 296 GT3 would definitely hold its own against the 1200R Twin-Turbo GT350 on the race track.
