What happens when you cram a Dodge Hellcat engine into a Mazda Miata? This 2,580-pound burnout machine that puts down 685 horsepower to its wheels by VMP Performance. However, that wasn’t the only modification, as the team had to also install a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission (found on Challenger / Camaro), a Ford 8.8 rear end, 10K springs, and of course, some very beefy tires.
As you can probably see, the massive set of wheels are too large for its arches which measure 275 mm at the front, but we’re sure its bright orange paint job will distract you from that fact. Thanks to its massive horsepower, minimal weight, and gearing, this Hellcat Mazda can perform donuts and burnouts in sixth gear. Just a slight touch of the throttle will have its wheels spinning to shreds, literally.
