The original Honda del Sol is a 2-seater targa top and successor to the popular CR-X, so it’s no surprise that the automaker is possibly working on an all-electric followup. Designer Alexis Poncelet thinks so as well, and came up with this futuristic Honda HR-X Del Sol electric pickup concept. It draws inspiration from the all-electric Honda e, but with a set of off-road tires that can handle city streets and the back roads without issue. Read more for additional pictures.
Sure, the Honda HR-X may not have the most storage space since it has such a short front hood and small bed out back, but according to one of the renders, there’s enough room for three small fridges. This makes it perfect for tailgating as you could just stick some beers and whatever foods that require cooling in them.
