Remember the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO that was sprayed in Musou Black, the world’s blackest paint? Well, its owner has now decided to add some HyperShift pearls, or extreme color shifting pearl pigments. To make this possible, DipYourCar had to combine HyperShift with a naphtha thinner, thus resulting in a finish that looks to be countless LEDs depending on the angle. The paint itself can already absorb 99.4% of visible light, so you can imagine how amazing this vehicle looks in person.
As mentioned in our previous story, you can actually purchase bottles of Musou Black for around $25 each, although you’ll have to pay for international shipping from Japan. If you do manage to get a bottle, the warning that you see says “don’t become a ninja by using this paint.” Unfortunately, this paint is durable enough to use on a daily driven car, so we only recommend this for show vehicles.
