The Kia EV6 GT made its debut at Monterey Car Week, and it’s currently the company’s most powerful production vehicle yet. It’s based on the E-GMP modular platform with dual electric motors in each axle generating combined 576 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, while topping out at an electronically limited 161 mph.
A 77.4 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese battery provides the Kia EV6 GT with up to 206 miles of range on a single charge, and its 800V architecture allows the battery pack to be charged to 70% in only 18 minutes when plugged into a 350 kW charger. Available later this year, with pricing yet to be announced, although the German version is priced from $71,000 USD. One thing the Kia EV6 GT doesn’t have is the EV9’s massive 27-inch touchscreen.
- Speed & Range: The Gokart PRO reaches 23 mph and has a 15.5-mile range on one charge.
- Powerful Performance: Features a rear-wheel drive with 4,800W power and 96N torque for quick acceleration.
- Safety First: Built with a high-strength steel frame, supports up to 220 lbs, and includes triple anti-collision protection.

The EV6 GT ushers in the next chapter of the Plan S electrification story for Kia, elevating the EV6’s thrilling performance and effortless drivability beyond expectations. Moving toward our tailpipe zero-emissions goals has never been as exhilarating,” said Steven Center, COO and Executive Vice President, Kia America.
