Tesla’s massive Giga Shanghai factory has the capacity to produce up to 200,000 vehicles a year, and they just started making the Model Y, which is priced from $52,091 USD. China is now Tesla’s largest market after the U.S., with 120,000 units sold in 2020, and production is still ramping. The Model Y, an SUV crossover that has a driving range of up to 369 miles, aims to help the electric carmaker expand its product lineup and target on a larger customer base.
