Little Car Company Tamiya Wild One MAX Buggy
Sure, the Citroën My Ami may be street legal, but The Little Car Company’s life-sized Tamiya Wild One MAX buggy can also be driven legally on the road (in some countries) and just looks so much cooler. Power comes from eight removable battery packs that sends a combined 14.4 kWh to a single electric motor for the rear wheels, enabling it to hit a top speed of 60 mph.

You won’t need an R/C controller for this Wild One, as there’s room for both a driver and passenger in the cabin. A digital 5-inch screen shows just how fast you’re going and the battery level, while Cobra racing seats, complete with four-point harness, keep you safe at all times. Pricing has not yet been revealed, although the company did confirm they will be making 100 Launch Edition vehicles for 2024.

We are massively flattered and thrilled by the launch of the Wild One Max by The Little Car Company under official licence from Tamiya. Tamiya assembly R/C kits, especially our unique buggy range, have captured the imaginations of generations for over 40 years. The prospect of a nearly full-size Tamiya buggy, which can be built and driven, is truly exciting and will be the ultimate vehicle for any Tamiya fan,” said Pete Binger, CEO, The Hobby Company – Tamiya UK Distributor.
