Microsoft Surface Duo
Not just a concept, the Microsoft Surface Duo is a an actual dual-screen Android smartphone set for launch during Q4 2020. Just like the Surface Neo, no technical specifications were revealed, but as you can see, it does sport two 5.6-inch displays that are designed to bring together the “best of Microsoft” with the “best of Google,” according to Microsoft’s chief product officer for the Devices group, Panos Panay. The 360° hinge allows you to fold the phone closed with the two screens protected on the inside, or folded in the other direction them on the front and back. This means you can lay the device out flat on a table in horizontal or landscape orientation, hold it like a book, use it like a laptop, or propped up in a tent position for watching films. There’s no word yet on pricing, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it on par with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
