Henry Cavill will not reprise his role in the next Superman movie, but that doesn’t mean Warner Bros. is not already developing a game based on the superhero. TeaserPlay shows us what an Earth-sized open world Superman game would look like if made in Unreal Engine 5, complete with ray tracing, lumen, nanite and more.
Speaking of Superman games, Rocksteady presented a playable demo to Warner Bros. back in 2020, which was promptly rejected since they were focusing more on Batman at that time. However, there are rumors that Rocksteady is still developing the title and just waiting for the green light from WB Interactive Entertainment. If it is announced, we shouldn’t expect to see a trailer until Q2 2023 at the earliest.
