Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit takes the franchise to the next level using mixed reality technology. What this means is that it uses physical radio-controlled cars that respond to players inputs in-game. Several Mario Kart items are included, and the game supports up to 4 players, complete with AI racing against should you just have some free time to burn. When you win in Grand Prix mode, new customization options and costumes are unlocked for the playable characters. To create customized levels, like Rainbow Road, simply place the four gates to make checkpoints, which, when driven through, advance you onto the next lap of the five-lap race. The game also comes with arrows, which can be used to show the player where they need to drive
