From the same gamer who brought you this LEGO brick, comes this ring that can run the original DOOM game. This project uses the same batteries from the LEGO computer and uses a single PCB RP2040 microcontroller circuit board, which had to be cracked along four score lines to wrap it into a ring shape.
This may not be a very practical build of the game, but James ‘Ancient’ Brown basically just wanted to see if this was a usable technique. What he discovered was that the ring very fragile, and the connections between the capacitive pads and USB port during encapsulation was lost. For those wondering, it runs RP2040 DOOM and not the standard build. You can download it here now.
