Apple could be releasing a folding iPhone this year, but Samsung has already beat them to the punch with their Galaxy Fold smartphone, which hits stores on April 26th, priced at $1,980. The one thing most users may worry about is just how durable the display is, and this newly released video aims to put those worries to ease. “The screens are fast to turn on, there doesn’t seem to be that big of a gap when the device is closed, and there also doesn’t seem to be the creasing issue that early reports claimed might be a problem. Samsung promises that the Fold will be able to “outlast 200,000 folds and unfolds” (which it estimates to roughly five years of use, assuming 100 folds a day),” reports The Verge.
