Super Mario RPG Remake
Another day, another video game fan project, and this time, it’s a Super Mario RPG remake by digital artist Finn. Those familiar with this game know that it has two main sections: adventuring and turn-based battle sequences. Finn has revamped the latter with all-new graphics, but since there are no random encounters, a battle ensues only if Mario comes in contact with one.

Aside from this revamped encounter / battle system, no other details have been revealed about the project. Unfortunately, Nintendo has been known to shut down fan projects like this before they get to a public release, so this may be one of the few times we get to see actual gameplay footage. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of the different lands, like Mushroom Kingdom and Moleville. In the real world, a NASA engineer used 100,000 dominoes to create an incredible Super Mario Bros. mural.
