Full Carbon Nissan GT-R

One Nissan GT-R owner in the UK wasn’t satisfied with the factory looks, so they decided to spend $76,000 transforming it into the carbon fiber beast you see above. Yes, every body piece has been custom fabricated from premium carbon fiber, including the hood, doors, fenders, and bumpers. It’s not all just for aesthetics, as these panels combine for a weight saving of 310 pounds (140 kg). Read more for a video of it in-action.

Nissan Skyline R32 HKS Zero-R

The Nissan Skyline R32 HKS Zero-R is one of the world’s rarest production cars, as only 10 exist. This pristine specimen is located in Brunei and what sets it apart from the standard model is a two-seat configuration, with the rear-end reserved for the fuel cell, along with a bevy of HKS parts, including dual exhausts as well as aero parts. Industrial designer Enoch Gonzales gives us a glimpse at the next-generation Nissan GT-R, which is at least a couple of years away. His conceptual design blends elements from the current GT-R, Italdesign’s GT-R50, and a dash of the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo. Up front, you’ll find a large, hexagonal grille with the trademark V-shaped accent inside, angular headlights, and LEDs that stretch along the front fenders. The sideview reveals many sharp creases that lead the eye to the rear, and the traditional dual circular GT-R taillights, along with quad exhausts. Read more for additional pictures and information.

Nissan GT-R50 Prototype

Nissan’s GT-R50 prototype by Italdesign received such an overwhelming positive response that they’ve decided to put it into production. It will be limited to just 50 units worldwide, with each priced at €990,000 (equal to $1,124,410) before taxes and optional extras. This special edition is based on the 2018 GT-R Nismo, and features a unique bodywork, a customized interior layout, Bilstein adjustable dampers and Brembo brakes. The upgraded twin-turbo V6 engine with new internals now generates 710 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. Read more for another video, additional pictures and information.

Nissan Leaf NISMO RC

The all-new Nissan LEAF NISMO RC is what an electric race car should look like, and it comes with more than double the maximum power / torque output of its predecessor. Featuring dual electric motors, all-wheel drive and an aggressive, restyled body shape, this purpose-built car demonstrates how the automaker’s electric vehicle technology can deliver aggressive, yet quiet, zero-emission power. It’s equipped with advanced battery technology and drivetrain components from the Nissan LEAF, with two electric motors at opposite ends of the chassis producing 240 kilowatts combined (120 kW each) and an astounding 640 Nm of instant torque to the wheels. 1600HP Nissan GT-R

Russia-based Gosha TurboTech specializes in tuning high-end supercars, including this Nissan GT-R, called “Lucifer”. After heavily modifying the engine, they managed to squeeze out 1,600 horsepower, making it nearly three times as powerful as the stock 2017MY GT-R, or approximately 100 horsepower more than the Bugatti Chiron. Nissan Navara Dark Sky Concept

Unveiled this week at the Hannover Motor Show, Nissan’s Navara Dark Sky Concept is based on the production Navara pickup and features a custom trailer housing an ultra-high-power PlaneWave telescope. Other features include: a light bar, special red lighting to lower light pollution around the telescope for better viewing, and an upgraded Nissan ProPilot Assist system for improved off-road performance that enables it to scan surrounding terrain for an ideal trailer parking spot. Liberty Walk Copen GT-R

Liberty Walk is known for their extreme wide body kits, but their latest project is a bit smaller, literally. They took Daihatsu Copens, complete with its folding hard top, and transformed them into miniature Nissan GT-Rs. They use the same style grille, air intakes and LED daytime running lights from its big brother, with flared wheel arches and a set of deep-dish wheels added. Nissan GTR Italdesign GT-R50

The GT-R50 by Italdesign, based on the 2018 GT-R Nismo, was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of both the sports car as well as Italdesign. Featuring new bodywork with special gold detailing, a new hood, thin LED headlights, a lower (54mm) roofline, and twin floating taillight. The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 is upgraded by NISMO now boasts larger GT3 competition-spec turbos, intercoolers, a heavy-duty crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, high-flow piston oil jets, revised camshaft profiles, higher-flow fuel injectors and optimized intake and exhaust systems. All of this means a power output of 710 hp at 7100rpm and 575 lb-ft between 3600 and 5600rpm. Continue reading for more pictures and information.

Nissan GT-R Police Car

A Tochigi Prefecture resident donated a Nissan GT-R to the local police force, and earlier this week it was delivered at a special ceremony. It will soon enter service as a patrol car with a few cosmetic additions, including: a black and white livery with matching black wheels, a large light bar, police badging, as well as LED emergency lights in the grille.
