Tesla Model Y

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Twitter that the Model Y will be unveiled at the company’s LA Design Center on March 14th. It will be an SUV that shares 75% of its features with the current Model 3, but be about 10% larger and cost slightly more. Since there are pre-production prototypes ready, many will be able to go for ride alongs after the press event. “Tesla will build the Model Y at the company’s Gigafactory outside Reno, Nevada, and the vehicle is supposed to enter volume production in 2020. Tesla also eventually plans to make Model Ys at the Gigafactory it’s building in Shanghai, China,” reports The Verge.
